Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg. pe-cooked snails with shell
  • 1 glass red wine
  • 1/2 cup of all-purposes flour
  • 1 cup of olive oil
  • salt, pepper, rosemary

POPPING FRIED SNAILS


Popping fried snails (A traditional recipe from the island of Crete)


Préparation

Wash, drain pat dry the snails. Salt the snails, put them into flour and fry them for 3 minutes in a frying pan with the open side down. Sprinkle the rosemary, salt, pepper and mix them once. After 2 minutes add the glass of red wine. When the wine evaporates, they are ready to be served.
